Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by chronic, diffuse musculoskeletal pain,<\/strong> which is associated with other symptoms such as fatigue, cognitive and sleep disorders, skin hypersensitivity, sensation of swelling or numbness, cold intolerance, symptoms in the temporomandibular joint, urinary and digestive symptoms, among others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the pain is located in structures such as tendons, ligaments and muscles, There is no evidence of inflammation in these tissues in laboratory or imaging tests.<\/strong>This is why fibromyalgia has been questioned as an organic problem, and for a long time it has been considered a psychosomatic disorder.<\/p>\n

Recent studies indicate that Fibromyalgia is a disorder of pain regulation at the brain level<\/strong>, so it could be classified within the central sensitization syndromes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To have effective results in symptom relief and improved quality of life<\/strong>, is necessary in approach global and integrative<\/strong>, that regulate the nervous system and restore homeostasis and body balance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Advanced Integrative Physiotherapy Consultation<\/strong>, we have developed a own methodology<\/strong> for the treatment of patients with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. It is the result of several years of study and experience treating these patients. Fibromyalgia has no cure, but Patients improve significantly<\/strong>, when subjected to a treatment protocol that regulates the neuro-musculoskeletal system<\/strong>, through techniques of the clinical posturology<\/strong>, techniques of neurobiomodulation<\/strong> that regulate the central and peripheral nervous system and techniques aimed at vagus nerve.<\/strong><\/p>\n
